What This Product Does

AP9778, the Omada Pro BE22000 Ceiling Mount WiFi 7 Access Point, provides up to 22 Gbps speeds with the latest WiFi 7 technologies. Two built-in 10G Ethernet ports ensure high network throughput. High-density environments will no longer be a hindrance.

Integrating into the Omada Software Defined Networking (SDN) solution, AP9778 runs in an efficient management way. Centralized and remote management can liberate managers and help reduce maintenance costs.

Wi-Fi 7: Swifter, Smoother, Stronger

· Supersized Throughput for Better Experiences
With the brand-new 6 GHz band open to applications, WiFi 7 supports extending channel width to 320 MHz. Compared to WiFi 6/6E, the doubled channel bandwidth of 6 GHz offers many more simultaneous transmissions at the fastest possible speeds. Making full use of these new resources, the throughput of AP9778 reaches up to 22 Gbps.

· Higher Capacity for Increased Traffic Demands
WiFi 7 supports 4096-QAM with 12 bits rather than WiFi 6’s 10 bits. The updated modulation method enables each signal to carry more dense amounts of data. Equipped with advanced 4096-QAM, AP9778 empowers your business to meet ever-growing traffic demands from high-bandwidth applications, such as remote offices, HD video conferencing, and cloud-based applications.

· Lower Latency for Boosted Network Reliability
AP9778 allows network devices to communicate across multiple bands and channels simultaneously thanks to Multi-Link Operation (MLO). Additionally, Multi Resource Units (Multi-RUs) open up previously wasted channels. More bands can be used concurrently to share redundant data, and interference will be blocked to improve reliability.

Professional Hardware Design

AP9778 is equipped with 2× 10G PoE++ input ports. The supported link aggregation function can aggregate two ports together at most to get a higher speed of up to 20 Gbps. One port is used for Power over Ethernet (PoE), and another one can be a hot backup for stable and reliable networking. Furthermore, the AP778's smart antennas improve network flexibility and signal quality by altering antenna directions based on terminal device location.

Enhanced Network Security

Customizable WIDS and adaptive WIPS assist in safeguarding critical data and network resources. Intelligent Anomaly Detection and Analysis guarantees 24/7 automatic network anomaly analysis to offer timely optimization advice. AP9778 also provides secure WiFi access along with multiple authentication options (SMS/Voucher/RADIUS) and abundant wireless security technologies, such as WPA3.

Centralized Management

The Omada Software Defined Networking (SDN) platform provides 100% centralized cloud management and creates a highly scalable network controlled from a single interface. Seamless wireless connections are provided, making them ideal for use in hotels, education, retail, offices, and more.

Easy Deployment

Intelligent software and quality hardware design together lead to simple deployment. With Automated Radio Frequency Deployment, AP9778 efficiently optimizes RF deployment by scanning the surrounding area 24/7. △ Supporting DC and 802.3bt PoE, flexible product installation is at the fingertips. Due to its compact case design, the AP9778 can be installed in two steps: simply push and rotate.

Maximum wireless signal rates are the physical rates derived from IEEE Standard 802.11 specifications. Actual wireless data throughput, wireless coverage, and connected devices are not guaranteed and will vary as a result of internet service provider factors, network conditions, client limitations, and environmental factors, including building materials, obstacles, volume and density of traffic, and client location.

*Zero-Touch Provisioning requires the use of the Omada Pro Cloud-Based Controller.

**The actual capacity depends on the wireless environment and client traffic and is generally less than the maximum number of client connections.

§Coverage value is calculated based on laboratory testing. Actual coverage is not guaranteed and will vary as a result of client limitations and environmental factors.

Use of Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be), Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), and features including Multi-Link Operation (MLO), 320 MHz Bandwidth, 4K-QAM, Multi-RUs, OFDMA, MU-MIMO and BSS Color requires clients to also support the corresponding features. The 320 MHz bandwidth is only available on the 6 GHz band. Simultaneously, the 160 MHz and 240 MHz bandwidths or the 320 MHz bandwidth might not be available on the 5 GHz band or the 6 GHz band, respectively, in some regions/countries due to regulatory restrictions. Double channel width and speed refer to 320 MHz compared to 160 MHz for Wi-Fi 6 mesh.

These functions require the use of an Omada Pro controller.
